What is Cold Laser Therapy?

Cold Laser Therapy or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non‐invasive light source treatment that generates a single wavelength of light. It emits no heat, sound, or vibration. It is also called photobiology or biostimulation. LLLT is believed to affect the function of connective tissue cells (fibroblasts), accelerate connective tissue repair and act as an anti‐inflammatory agent.

Cold Laser are easy to apply, extremely safe, non-toxic, non-invasive, cause no side effects or pain, and can reduce the need for surgery. Cold Laser Therapy works synergistically with other modalities like chiropractic, acupuncture, and physical therapy.

In some cases cold laser therapy can be used as a natural, non-intrusive alternative to acupuncture and surgery, especially for patients who are uncomfortable with these modalities. It also provides a natural alternative to pharmaceutical use.

At our clinic, we use the latest technology by Erchonia Laser Company which is approved by the FDA.
